TILT Lighting Designers
TILT conceives and creates immersive light installations that blend organic forms, colorful scenography, and audience interaction.
Comprising an artistic and technical team of about ten people, the agency develops projects for a variety of settings: public spaces, events, or permanent installations. Each creation is designed and manufactured in-house, in collaboration with a network of local partners.
All structures are produced in a 250 m² workshop dedicated to woodworking, metalworking, and the assembly of installations.
The technical team, with complementary skills (welding, electronics, metalwork, logistics), handles every stage: fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and restoration of the works between each installation. This comprehensive expertise ensures the reliability of the installations and their ability to be deployed in a variety of settings.
Organic and interactive light installations
To illuminate its installations, Studio TILT turned to ESL, selecting lighting and power solutions from the DTS brand. This choice ensures performance, reliability, and precision in the rendering of lighting effects, creating immersive experiences in public spaces.
Shadow & Shadow Pop
The Shadow luminaires take the form of a monumental flower that spreads its six petals toward the sky.
By day, the structure casts a play of light and shadow on the ground, while its circular bench invites visitors to take a break. At nightfall, the installation comes to life with evolving color sequences, creating an atmosphere conducive to contemplation.
The Shadow Pop version offers a more graphic and colorful interpretation. Its translucent petals diffuse vivid hues that transform the surrounding space into a dynamic luminous landscape. At night, the colors overlap and evolve, enhancing the installation’s immersive effect.
